Maple Ginger Sauce (Refined Sugar Free/ Dairy Free/ Vegan/ Paleo/ Gluten Free/ Soy Free Option)

So my hubby and I have different food issues. We have some of the same ones, but other different ones as well. I like to be able to add certain sauces to our whole meal, without having to do two different ones. I love my honey garlic sauce, but it doesn’t like my hubby…

I started putting different ingredients together that we could both have and came up with my Maple Ginger Sauce. Ginger is so good for your digestive system! It is delicious on chicken, ribs, pork chops and even a stir fry. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!

Maple Ginger Sauce (Refined Sugar Free/ Dairy Free/ Vegan/ Paleo/ Gluten Free/ Soy Free Option)

1/2 c. palm sugar

1 Tbsp. tapioca starch

2 Tbsp. maple syrup

2 Tbsp. grated fresh ginger ( or 2 tsp. dry ginger powder)

2 Tbsp. gluten free soy sauce (or coconut aminos for soy free)

1 c. water

In a small sauce pan, whisk together palm sugar and tapioca starch. Then add in remaining ingredients and whisk together. Put pan on medium heat. Whisk continually until the mixture comes to a boil and starts to thicken. Remove from heat. Let cool then transfer into a covered jar. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
